When her boyfriend dumps her, Emily, a spontaneous woman in her 30s, persuades her ultra-cautious mom to accompany her on a vacation to Ecuador. At Emily's insistence, the pair seek out adventure, but suddenly find themselves kidnapped. When these two very different women are trapped on this wild journey, their bond as mother and daughter is tested and strengthened while they attempt to navigate the jungle and escape. After her boyfriend dumps her on the eve of their exotic vacation, impetuous dreamer Emily Middleton persuades her ultra-cautious mother, Linda to travel with her to paradise. Polar opposites, Emily and Linda realize that working through their differences as mother and daughter - in unpredictable, hilarious fashion - is the only way to escape the wildly outrageous jungle adventure they have fallen into. I am a huge fan of Goldie Hawn so I gave it a shot. It was terrible on all fronts and Goldie needs to have a chat with her agent. Schumer was barely funny for a minute, years ago, but is no longer bearable and what an unpleasant woman to look at as well. Schumer is the kiss of death for any movie. Never again. Studios must think we are all idiots…. we must stop Amy from inflicting anymore pain upon this earth…. she's sucks the movie sucks and Goldie!…. what were you thinking?

Anyway I'm going to watch something better to wash the stink of this movie out of my brain. Pairing up talented comedians like Hawn and Schumer with a wacky plotline to match should spell comedy gold, but Snatched is about as cheap and disposable as a tourist trap tchotchke.
